Tire & General Service Technician

OVERVIEW
Heinold & Feller Tire & Auto Repair is looking for a Tire and General Service Technician. This is an entry-to-mid-level position responsible for general vehicle maintenance and repair, such as installing new tires, performing oil changes and tire rotations along with other repairs, depending on skill level. You will also work under the guidance of an experienced automotive professional who will assist you.
General Service Technicians are responsible not only for the service we provide, but also for our reputation as a trustworthy and dependable tire & auto repair shop. Because of this, a successful general service technician will need to have some experience in automotive repair, and must be a quick-learner who has the ability to receive instructions and follow our shop’s procedures. You must pay strong attention to detail and be honest, and reliable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review work orders and discuss them with service manger as needed
- Complete vehicle Inspections
- Perform tire replacement, repairs and tire rotations
- Perform oil changes and tire rotations
- Perform basic level auto maintenance
- Participate in training
- Tire warehouse resupply
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Must have valid driverโs license and reliable transportation
- Be mechanically inclined
- Drug free workforce
